Japan’s second-largest bank, Mitsui Sumitomo Bank, has unveiled a new business co-creation hub called HOOPSLINK in Tokyo’s Shin-Marunouchi Building. The initiative aims to drive the development of Web3 and generative AI technologies by bringing together startups, corporates, and researchers.

According to Foresight News, Mitsui Sumitomo Bank envisions HOOPSLINK as a platform not only for technical innovation but also for addressing broader social and business challenges tied to rapid digital transformation.
